Atmos is the Bloomberg for Carbon Markets. We are building Level-1 Infrastructure to bring Forestry Carbon Offset markets online.
By 2030, Voluntary Carbon Credits need to scale 10x to meet needs of Paris Climate Deal. McKinsey predicts Carbon Markets to be over $30B annually by then, however, digital infrastructure needed to scale this market is currently lacking.
Why Carbon Offsets?
Climate change is real - if we continue on the path we are on right now, the earth will be unlivable for future generations.
While switching to renewables and curb future emissions helps, cleaning up the existing damage, requires Carbon Negative projects like carbon capture or growing a forest.
Companies like Shell, Disney, or Delta Airlines, back these projects, usually run in developing countries, through ESG investments. However, finding a high quality project can be tricky, and often problematic.
So, we built Atmos.
